In March 2015, Premier acquired CIM Mozambique, known for trusted, quality brands and products. As a market leader our focus on innovation has resulted in a number of successful new launches including Blue Ribbon, Pic Niq, rice brands Sunblest and Dourado, and Madrugador which was an extension to the animal feeds portfolio.
The business has invested in capacity and infrastructure upgrades particularly to support our biscuit and animal feed brands as well as in HR training and development too. We are proud to be the largest employer in Mozambique.
The CIM Mozambique business also extends to exports. Our animal feeds, pastas, biscuits and rice products are increasingly available across SADC markets.
